2015-2017 Ford Mustang Tiger Racing Louvered Hood, Clear Carbon Fiber
In Sept 2014 just after CorteX Racing received their 2015 pre-production Mustang GT design of this hood began at the CorteX Racing R&D shop in Sonoma, CA. Tiger Racing, Chicane23, and CorteX designed and built the first prototype of this hood in the month before the SEMA 2014 show. It was a huge success so the hood was optimized for production and Tiger Racing began manufacturing these hoods immediately for both the Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass versions.
Paul Brown/Tiger Racing Championship-Winning Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass Heat Extracting Race Hoods are very unique since they are one of the few aftermarket hoods to have ever been in a wind tunnel and optimized.

The Carbon Fiber Heat Extracting Race Hood is manufactured from carbon fiber composite to minimize weight and maximize strength. It can easily be used on the street with the “Latch Option.” The Fiberglass Heat Extracting Race Hood is manufactured from fiberglass to OEM standards, and looks great both on the track or on the street. These hoods mount to the OEM hinge assemblies and use the factory hood latch for easy fitment. As with any carbon fiber or fiberglass aftermarket hood, hood pins are recommended for the street and should be considered mandatory for track use.
